Asan Memorial Association (regd) Chennai has been in educational service since 1965.

The founding members of the Association consist of eminent Malayalees, settled in Chennai, from different walks of life such as industrialists, educationists, film personalities and social workers who were highly devoted and dedicated to the noble cause of education. In addition to imparting education, the institution endeavours to conserve the rich traditions and culture of our country by making the students imbibe a great sense of respect for our heritage.

AKG public school being an offshoot of Asan memorial association has been guided by all the community members as its mentors.
